Today I'm airing my dirty laundry - literally. For a girl who loves fashion, I tend not to take great care of my own. It's a bad habit that I'm keen to break and it all starts with taking my floordrobe to wardrobe, which is what I spent my weekend doing. I do have a built-in wardrobe, drawers and shelves, but they just don't fit everything! So this little fix is a great short-term solution, which even boasts using my funky old bookcase for shoes...
What's your dirty little fashion secret? xx

Summer wish list
Breaking every rule
Um... I think I missed the "velvet is cool especially in forest green and even more so when it covers your entire body in the form on a onesie" memo. ASOS claims to make and break the fashion rules and I think in this case it's obvious what has occurred. Kim Kardashian and Diane Kruger have both been snapped in a velvet jumpsuit. Don't let that trick you into thinking it's OK. xx

Rent you won't mind paying
Thanks to a very observant girlfriend, today I discovered GlamCorner. It's pretty much the ultimate service for girls like me who only like to wear statement dresses once. And while it's nice to own that special designer piece and break it out every few years (if you really think you'll still like it for that long), renting the same thing for a lot less could be the new way to go! I think this is especially true for big events like a ball or black tie dinner - when you don't just have something sitting in the wardrobe ready to go, and you certainly don't have time to go shopping.
Quick facts
- It's a seven-day rental
- Free delivery and free 24-hour returns (this means you can choose up to three dresses and get a refund on the two you don't want)
- Pre-paid return bag included in the rental price
- No fee for dry-cleaning
- Dresses you receive will either be brand new or near-new
- The site also sells ex-rentals at good prices
- Brands include Alex Perry, Ellery and Nicola Finetti - just to name a few
What I'm eyeing off
Downfalls
- Limited range
- Poor branding
If I end up trying the service I'll be sure to follow up with a review. xx
